The button element can be used as part of a Switcher set (SP Switchers), or as part of a Swiper set ( SP Carousel Control).
When you are using the button element, remove the ‘#’ symbol from the link field.
Often, you will also want to set the button alignment to ‘justified’, and ‘Align justified button text to edge’ to yes.
If you are using a justified button (recommended in most designs), you will want to remove any background color given to your button in the ‘Styling’ tab. This will allow you to use the normal, hover and active styling options provided by the extensions directly.
Elementor doesn’t make this easy, as it has a default color set there. Simply change it to a color that is 100% transparent.
